Replacement of Hyperion Enterprise and PFX application with Hyperion system 9 Financial Management application with FDM ( Financial Data Management )
for Integration, data load and validation; and BI (Business Intelligent)
tools for Financial reporting, WEB analysis and Shared services.

Solution Framework:

Our team actively supported and lead phases of the software life cycle
including project initiation, product selection, hardware architecture,
defining system requirements, design, development, test and deployment.
We also served as a liaison between Visteon accounting/finance (business)
and IT organizations.

Our Shakti team successfully delivered on this complex engagement. We were
fully responsible for project gate/ planning documents, creating test plan,
test cases, training plan, cut over plan and communication plan. Involved in
standardizing interface files and automated the data load process from
Peoplesoft and Excel via Upstream.

Solution Outcome: This enhanced financial consolidation and reporting system reduced CITRIX
usage and this environment provided improved operational budgeting and
forecasting processes, improved overall performance and ensured security and
data integrity.

MiCSES (Michigan Child Support Enforcement System)

Requirements:

The State of Michigan wanted to implement an integrated Child Support Enforcement System. This integrated solution streamlined the end to end process from Case Initiation, Location, Case Management and included Legal and Financial processing. The system also interfaced with existing applications in the state Bank one, Michigan Disbursement Unit, Michigan Unemployment Agency and Michigan Police Department and to other Child Support agencies in different states.

Solution Framework:

We were responsible for various aspects of application design, performance, batch, online, reporting, and project implementation. The project helped streamline complex processes, integrated disparate applications, improved access and customer support, reduced operational costs, improved process cycle time, enhanced system wide performance, improved quality of service besides incorporating best practices. At its peak we had 20+ consultants onsite helping the consultant & client implement this mission critical
program.

CHEERS (Child Support Establishment and Enforcement Reporting
System)

State of New Mexico

Requirements:

The State of New Mexico wanted to implement an integrated Child Support Enforcement System that was also accessible through the web (e-child support) for select transactions. This integrated solution streamlined the end to end process from Case Initiation, Location, Case Management and included Legal and Financial processing. The system also interfaced with existing applications in the state like AFDC (IVA), FOSTER CARE (IVE) and to other Child Support agencies in different states.

Solution Framework:

We were responsible for various aspects of application design, performance, batch, online, reporting, and project implementation. We were also the project managers for the e-child support project. The project helped streamline complex processes, integrated disparate applications, improved access and customer support, reduced operational costs, improved process cycle time, enhanced system wide performance, improved quality of service besides incorporating best practices. At its peak we had 15 + consultants onsite onsite in various roles assisting the consultant & the client in implementing this mission critical program.

REMAC Program (FACETS implementation)

Blue Cross Blue Shield (The Regence Group)

Requirements:

The Regence group had consolidated operations, and integrating it diverse systems and processes to simplify its solution architecture and to improve operational efficiency. We are maintaining and supporting the first phase (State of Oregon) of a multi phase implementation. We are also developing the interfaces and conversion and in the preparation for the next phase
implementation of FACETS in Washington State. We are responsible for application design, performance, batch, online, reporting, conversion architecture definition and implementation.

The Project will integrate diverse processes and systems into a consolidated solution to manage membership and claims for the Regence Group in all regions in the Northwest. It would help streamline operational processes, reduced operational costs, improved efficiency and provided a strategic platform for leveraging core operational data to gain a competitive advantage in the market place.

Solution Framework:

We were responsible for various aspects of application design, performance, batch, online, reporting, and project implementation. We were also the project managers for the offshore development of the extensions to the core application, development of interfaces and reports. Our offshore application maintenance organization was responsible for production and operations
support for the application. We also were responsible for environment management and software deployment. At its peak we had 30+ consultants onsite and 80+ consultants offshore supporting the REMAC program.
